Looking north-east from the summit of Helvellyn. We had walked up from Swirls car park near Thirlmere. I had quite bad knee pain from the Cat Bells walk the day before and limped most of the way, especially going down when I used the headphones as a distraction technique. A sign of my poor hill walking fitness at that point. (Wainwright #6, 3117ft)
