Today we woke up in Furnace Creek and drove a few miles to visit Badwater for a view of the salt flats. This involved a 10 minute walk out of the car which was nearly impossible in the heat. The kids were glad to get back to the car. Then we drove to Zabriski Point for this viewpoint before leaving Death Valley. I had injured my foot and the kids were still feeling overheated so we stayed in the car and Anna went up and took the photos for this one.
