Looking west it is possible to see so many different summits. The Helvellyn range is easily spotted but Red Pike and Great Gable were more unexpected. All the way from Coniston Old Man in the South, Scafell Pike in the west and Skiddaw in the north. Of the 30 highest peaks in the lakes it is possible to see 23 in this view.
