A brief stop on the early part of the ascent up Scafell Pike with Nick and Mike. The view is north along Grains Gill towards Seathwaite where we had walked from. The hills at the top are on the far side of the Borrowdale Valley where we had walked the evening before, for a little warm up, including climbing High Doat.
