322. Sandhead beach - 19th August 2019
Sandhead beach directly opposite the house we stayed in. The tide went out a long way which meant that we had to time our kayaking trips quite carefully. High tide bought the water nearly up to the brown seaweed level and this was in the mid to late afternoon, however all morning and much of the evening the beach looked like this. TEN paddled to the headland to the right (south) one day and M,E walked there another day and nearly got caught out by the returning tide. Three interesting rocks projecting out of the water to the far left were never walked to as they were too far away.
