The land on the extreme right of the picture on the horizon is the Isle of Man. The other land on the horizon is Scotland. 6 miles away looking east towards the edge of Scotland you can see a pyramid shaped rock called Great Scaure which is home to 7000 seabirds. The rock was visible from the roof window of our house in Sandhead and from that angle it has the shape of a ship.
