The way over from Graystones was our most difficult and longest route of the day with a walk down through the stumps, along forest roads and finally up the side of the fell without a path. We eventually arrived at Whinlatter Top two hours and 15 minutes later. (Wainwright #132, 1722ft.) A lovely view of Keswick and the fells around it basking in the early evening sunshine.
