We had to put on fleeces and coats as we approached the ridge of Nethermost Pike (Wainwright #165, 2923 ft). The wind had picked up as we neared the ridge and the temperature was down to 9 degrees. Helvellyn was in cloud for most of the time we were here which meant we decided against a re-visit. We could see numerous people on Striding Edge as we had first lunch. The mist came and went quite quickly around us at this slightly lower level and at the third attempt I got this sequence with St.Sunday Crag clear, but not Dollywagon Pike.
