Opposite the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague (The smaller cream and brown building in the left corner of the lake). We had tickets booked for a few hours later so we had lunch with this view then a little wander around the town first getting as far as The Peace Palace. Once inside the Mauritshuis we saw The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Vermeer, Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tuelpe by Rembrandt, Apelles Painting Campaspe by Van Haecht and the The Goldfinch by Fabritius amongst others. The following day the Vermeer was attacked by Just Stop Oil activists.
