Summit of Brandreth looking north west. (Wainwright #50, 2346ft) Our last day on this trip and we had already packed up and left the house at Croasdale. The weather was threatening. We started from Honister slate mine car park and by the time we reached the top of Fleetwith Pike (Wainwright #49, 2126ft) it was very wet and windy. Carried on to Brandreth and managed to snatch this view between the showers. After this it got wetter still as we went to Grey Knotts (Wainwright #51, 2287ft) and back to Honister. I visted here again on a lovely spring day in 2022.
