We reached the top of Crag Hill just before 1.30. The western fells were pretty clear by now giving us a good view. The clouds are still visible over Skiddaw, Blencathra and further east. (Wainwright #96, 2753ft)

Crag Hill is often known as Eel Crag. When you're on the top you can stand between the two and appreciate the distinction. Strictly speaking Crag Hill is the main summit and Eel Crag is the grass covered crag area to the north however the whole thing is often known as Eel Crag to walkers.
