Back up to the main summit cairn and we now had the whole of the Grasmoor summit plateau to ourselves. We had often commented as we walked that the fells seem to clear of people by mid afternoon and so it proved today. We only saw one other person up high after this despite walking for 2 more hours and 2 more peaks. I suppose most people start early but today the best of the weather and views was at the end of the day.
