Walking down from Wandope towards Whiteless Pike we cross the Peak of Thirdgill Head Man. A summit that to my mind seems to have too many words in it. Although not a Wainwright it was of some interest to us because it was clearly visible from our bathroom window in Rannerdale Farm. The farm can be seen between the edge of the hill and Crummock Water.
