On the descent of Rest Dodd and Hayeswater becomes visible for a short time. For such a large lake Hayeswater was relatively difficult to see on this walk. We followed the wall for the direct route towards our next summit until we reached the path coming up from the lake. That path would also be our route home later in the day, taking us down to the lake's outflow.
