From the lower summit to the south, the view of Crummock Water and the Buttermere valley is better and Loweswater can be seen too. When I first arrived here the cloud was fully covering Whiteside and Grasmoor. So I had a snack and settled down to wait it out. It took half an hour during which I had a light doze in the warm sun.
