17.05 For this trip we stayed in Claremont House B&B with Dave and Angie. A great place to stay, just down the road from Zefferelli's. Dave used to work for the NT and be on the mountain rescue team and had many great stories to tell. I particularly enjoyed the one about two teenagers found in the Langdales who had food for a roast dinner and planned to cut down a tree for fuel ! It was a pleasant afternoon so after we had checked in to Claremont House in we took a walk up Loughrigg Fell. |
