Usefulness for assessing weather

Fair but only really useful for assessing cloud. The camera has quite a wide view with a lot of sky so it sometimes has nice views of cloud formations.

Usefulness in different lighting conditions and times of day

Faces south so can sometimes be slightly blinded by low winter sun.

Excellent. Rarely offline in the last few years.

Good general view along the length of Bassenthwaite and on clear days it is possible to see the fells to the south of Derwentwater. A rather soft image though. Run by Armathwaite Hall Hotel.
