Fair. Gives a good idea of cloud and snow cover over the Skiddaw range and wind or rain on the lake.

Good. Rarely affected by changing light.Sometimes visibilty is affected by mist from the lake.

Can produce very beautiful, moody, artistic views.

Sometimes seems be knocked out of focus or get fogged up and can remain like this for several days.

The webpage that holds the image had an update recently (summer 2025) so images may look slightly different. There is also now a second camera looking at a wooded area with frequent wildlife.

You also have to scroll the page now to see the images and the webpage does not respond to the wheel on my mouse so I have to drag the slider at the side of the window.
