A webcam looking over the rooftops from Keswick with classic views of many fells to the west. This has rapidly become my favourite northern webcam since discovering it in July 2024. It gives a wide variety of views under different weather conditions and at different times of the day.

A typical view on a clear day. Click on any dot for a panoramic photo from that point. A tiny part of Derwentwater is often visible in the summer, but a lot more when the leaves come off the trees.

Good night images are possible from this camera and stars sometimes visible. This was the view at around 1.30am one night in July 2024.

The northern Lights camera is probably the best in the lakes for sunsets.

It also gives dramatic views across the valley when the clouds are low.

Later the same day and the cloud has cleared off Catbells, Robinson and Causey Pike, but still hangs in the valleys.

Lovely shot of the moon behind clouds one evening. The strong lights in Newlands valley, in the centre of the image below Robinson, are from High Snab Farm I think. To the right of that the single fainter dot is a car on the road from Buttermere to Braithwaite.
