It had been raining gently for a few minutes by the time we reached the bottom of Pike O Stickle, making the rocks slippery. We walked up a path of clear steps but this came to an end at a very steep drop through a gully. It seemed as though we had to scramble from there but I walked back a few yards and found a slightly easier way. (Wainwright #77, 2326ft)
