353. Causey Pike summit - 26th August 2019
A bit of a hands on scramble for the last bit of Causey Pike and we were on the top at 11.20. I suppose that is a fairly slow ascent, an hour and three quarters from the car. I blame the chicken. We were joined by two chefs from Keswick after a few minutes. One said that he was up there once and there were a dozen grouse on the summit, not aggressive like our one though. Still fairly murky and the view along the ridge towards Sail was non existent most of the time. On the top we were pestered by flying ants. A young family arrived and Nick took their photo for them.
