The best moment of this trip! Unusually I was in the lead and reached the summit several minutes ahead of Nick. Just as I arrived my first Wainwright rainbow came out and I was chuffed to get it in the panorama. Hard to believe this is the first rainbow I have photographed let alone on a summit but it probably has something to do with the fact that I generally try to avoid walking in the rain. As Wainwright mentions the summit cairn is about ten yards from the highest point which is a post on the wall (to the right in this picture). Wainwright #177 2028 ft.
