14.05 Panorama 611 A nice view from the car before setting off just in case I don't beat the light.

14.25 Looking back down the path towards Skelgill Bank.

14.27 .... and across Stonycroft Gill to Causey Pike.

14.34 Only a little higher up and Catstye Cam is just in view.

14.40 Stybarrow Dodd, Bleaberry Fell, Raise, White Side, Catstye Cam, Helvellyn and High Seat in line, Nethermost Pike.

14.55 Looking back at Barrow and Stile End having just had a chat with the guy on the path.

14.59 Panorama 612 At the junction with the paths towards Stile End and Barrow.

15.11 Panorama 613 High Moss with views up to Coldale Hause and along the path up the side of Scar Crags to Causey Pike. Grisedlae Pike catching the setting sun.

  15.11 Looking back to Barrow..

15.24 Grisedale Pike 700ft above me.

15.25 Panorama 614 Outerside summit. Not too much time to linger as the light was dropping fast. I couldn't help but think back to the first time we were here in very different conditions to today. I decided to go down the front of Outerside as I was short of time to reach Barrow. Although the front is steep and slower walking it is probably still the quicker way and also visits Stile End.

  15.30 The moon over Blencathra.

15.53 Coming up to the ridge leading up to Stile End.

15.55 Panorama 615 Stile End summit with Bowfell and Esk Pike suddenly visible on the extreme right.

16.06 On the last ascent of Barrow from Barrow Door.

16.14 Panorama 616 Barrow summit and I just made it in time for a picture. By the time I reached Barrow Door on the way back down I needed my head torch for the walk back to the car.
